Here's how I know my life has really changed since this time last year: last night, when the UNC-Clemson game was tied, and then went into overtime, I.....went upstairs and went to bed. Didn't even WATCH! Had to find out the result THIS MORNING, via THE INTERNET. That is just plain sad. There's nothing else I can say.

Actually, there is. First, UNC did win, thank God. Second, in my defense, Sasha has been teething, and therefore up a LOT a night, which means I've been exhausted. Like, crazy-weepy-thinking you're going mental exhausted. I love my Tarheels, but sanity is more important. Luckily, we had a good night, so I feel somewhat together today. Whew!

In other news, the blogosphere seems to be very busy today. I just logged onto my Friends page and EVERYONE had a new entry, it seemed, all of them full of energy and excitement. It made me feel like I should log in as well, although I have nothing of worth to say, other than admitting what a lousy UNC fan I am, and reporting that for some reason, whenever I get a few hours to myself to go shopping, like I did this morning, a pimple miraculously seems to pop up just hours before on my face. Why can't I break out during all those hours/days I never get to leave the house? Ah, the mysteries of life.

I just read over this entry and realized it is neither energetic or exciting. Oh, well. Maybe next time?

have a good day, everyone!

Well, if it makes you feel any better, I read it with a tone of energy and excitement. Does that help?

And I hear you on the pimple thing. It's a bit different for me, though. I will always, without fail, have at least one pimple on my face at any given time. It's just one of those things. Well, on days I have important things to do/pictures to be taken, it always comes up somewhere nice and big and unavoidable (like smack dab in the middle of my forehead). So lovely.

It is the first day of spring classes , where I attend college and everything is a disaster. I think the most interesting thing that I can say happened today was when we were introducing ourselves in class and someone says they were from Pennsylvania. Then my instructor asked if their Dad worked for the paper company and proceeds to ask if anyone watched THE OFFICE, The story obviously takes place in Scanton Pennsylvania. I think that I may be one of the few people who watches it. I just started watching this season but I laugh and watch in confussion. Two of my friends turned me on tot the show. They told me to rent the DVD from pass seasons to get a better understanding.

How old is your daughter? Mine will turn one next week, and she is teething a lot now too. She just cut three molars, and she has been very cranky. It is tough waking up in the night with her, but things seem to be getting back to normal again. Until the next few ones start coming in!

My daughter is 18 months old, and it seems like just yesterday she was up three quaters of the night because she was teething. It does get better! My daughter now sleeps soundly throughout the night, and I love it! I recently found out we're expecting our second baby. Here's to sleepless nights!!!

AWESOME
So, I work at a stationery company that I won't name here, and we had an order come through the website for none other than a Sarah Dessen from Chapel Hill!! What's sad, is no one caught it but me! I'm sure it was from you, and I hope your satisfied, but I just thought that was so neat!! The world is a small place for your favorite author to order stationery at the place you work! If it wasn't you, of course, there is another Sarah Dessen in Chapel Hill... but I enjoy thinking it was you!!

A big fan,
Tera

Hi Sarah,

I just wanted to say hi and give you a little praise. I used Keeping The Moon as a part of my undergrad Young Adult Fiction writing class, I loved the book. So when I went to spend my Barnes and Noble gift card I found myself over in your section again. Yesterday I picked up This Lullaby on a whim and read it cover to cover from 5pm till about midnight. It's a brilliant piece of fiction, as I'm sure you've heard many times before. It gives me a little oomph to have my writing be as well written, whitty, and emotionally poignant as yours as has been.

Thank you, cant wait to read the new book and congrats on your baby girl.

I almost had a coronary last night watching that game. I know the stresses of having a newborn baby and believe me, it may have been better to not watch the end of that game. I mean, we had 5.4 seconds left to pull something off...I was watching from between fingers. Anyway, I don't think you're a bad Heels fan at all and I hope you can get more sleep soon!
