(it *has* felt like a long week, hasn't it?)

So: it has been brought to my attention that there is going to be something about How to Deal on TRL today. I am not a normal TRL viewer (no offense, but it falls during my writing time) but today I am going to be on the couch, front and center, with the rest of teenage America. So very exciting.

In the meantime, I, like everyone else, am recovering from watching the Michael Jackson special last night. Oh.My.Goodness. What can you say? Nothing. Words escape me. Nineteen million of you out there know exactly what I mean.

*shudder*

Anyway. It's almost the weekend. It looks like I might be having barbeque from Bullock's tonight. (Yay!) Good things all. Now if the sun would just come out...but maybe that's too much to ask. :)

I just saw the trailer for How to Deal on TRL. Oh, my goodness....I loved it. Truly. And I am such a trailer person, very discriminating. But I would go see this movie. Even if I hadn't written the books it was based on.

(Really!)

When it was over, the phone rang. It was my best friend Bianca. I picked it up and we both just shrieked, like the big nerds that we are. Oh, my God.

I think I am on the verge of hyperventilating. Which will not stop me from going and rewinding the tape to watch it again.
