For those of you who are here in Our Fine State, a quick plug for The North Carolina Literary Festival , happening here on the UNC campus next weekend. If you're interested at all in Southern fiction, there's something for everyone. (I'll be there, speaking with Frances O'Roark Dowell and Louise Hawes, but there's so many other way cool people that will be there. And it's all free. I love free stuff.)
